Our History

Behna, Cormier, Gougeon, Ouellette LLP is a firm of chartered accountants, established in 2003 following the merger of two accounting firms—Behna, Cormier, Audet & Associés and Gougeon, Ouellette & Associés—both of which have been in business for over 20 years.

To meet our clients' needs, our full-service firm offers accounting, assurance, tax and management consulting services.

Nowadays, corporations have incredible opportunities for growth due to the globalization of the economy and the rapid development of information technology. These trends not only lead us to continuously offer new services, but also to form alliances with people that share our business philosophy. It was in this spirit that, in 1997, we joined MacIntyre Sträter International, an international network comprising over 200 independent professional firms in 90 different countries.

Over the years, our clients have seen their assets and their companies grow. To offer the best support possible to our clients on their road to success, we comply with very strict rules in order to be recognized by the Canadian Public Accountability Board as auditors of public companies. We keep abreast of the latest professional and independent standards, and meet the highest quality criteria.

As this overview of our history attests, our group is constantly evolving. We have chosen to pursue this avenue in years to come, since this choice is a token of success for our clients and us as well.
